About the instructor:

Jennifer Anne Love has been an artist and teacher for over 40 years. She studied textile arts at Capilano College in North Vancouver and was a founding member of Foxglove Fibre Arts Studio/Gallery on Bowen Island. She has participated in numerous exhibitions on the Sunshine Coast, Bowen Island, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island.

Hand-painted and printed fabrics or papers are fundamental to Jennifer’s art practice. While she uses a myriad of different techniques and tools to create them, in recent years she has become more and more enthralled with the possibilities inherent in monoprinting with a gel plate. She works intuitively, embracing the unanticipated results of a printing session as well as the happenstance juxtaposition of collage elements.

An enthusiastic instructor for over 40 years, Jennifer has taught numerous surface design workshops, including introductory and advanced monoprinting on a gel plate, and collage - in Calgary, Sechelt, Duncan, Gibsons, Pender Harbour, Saltspring Island, Bowen Island, Fort St John and Vancouver.
