Exploring Art at UBC
March 21
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Hop on the bus and discover the treasures the UBC campus has to offer! We will have guided tours of the exhibitions at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum and Morris & Helen Belkin Art Gallery, including their outdoor art collection. Lunch will be at a local eatery or bring your own.
The Beaty, as Vancouver’s premiere natural history museum, focuses on the interconnectedness of all life on Earth and our role in preserving these delicate systems. Through their collections, interactive activities and regularly changing art exhibitions, you can learn more about the biodiversity of BC, Canada, and the world. We will focus on the photography exhibition, Vanishing, by Carol Christine Fitzgerald.
The Belkin Art Gallery, a contemporary art gallery located in an award-winning building designed by architect Peter Cardew, opened in 1995. It houses UBC's growing collection of contemporary art as well as an archives containing objects and records related to the history of art in Vancouver.
Cost: $60 (includes admissions & guided tours)
