Originally from Iran, Fereshteh is a fashion designer whose work is inspired by both her Persian heritage and the natural beauty of British Columbia, where she now lives. After immigrating to Canada in 2020, she found comfort and creative inspiration in the local landscape, translating the forms and colours of native flora into handcrafted jewelry and textile pieces. Drawing on her background in fashion design and the weaving traditions of northern Iran, Fereshteh creates floral-themed works using embroidery, braiding, knitting, stitching, and sewing techniques. Her designs celebrate nature, craftsmanship, and the enduring feeling of home.
