Playing with Fire: Exploring Ceramic Art

Join gallery staff for a day of exploration into the ceramic arts. We will begin with a guided tour of the new exhibition at the UBC Museum of Anthropology, Playing with Fire: Ceramics of the Extraordinary, a stunning group exhibition featuring installations by 11 BC-based artists that express opinions and offer commentary on the state of the world around us. We will visit ceramic artists’ studios in the afternoon. Lunch will be at a local eatery in Vancouver or bring your own bag lunch (cost of lunch not included).
