Blue & White

Blue & White, based in North Vancouver, BC, Canada, introduces a unique collection of Sashiko (Japanese embroidery) items. 

Founded and created by Fumi Hayakawa (@sashikofumi), Blue & White celebrates the art of Sashiko, a traditional Japanese embroidery technique originally used for reinforcement stitching and repairing worn areas. Fumi applies this running stitch technique for decorative purposes, creating beautiful hand-embroidered pieces such as tote bags, pencil cases, and coasters. Each item is crafted using special Japanese indigo fabrics such as Bingo Fushiori and Matsusaka cotton, adding an authentic touch to this timeless craft.
