Miro Matiasko

Miro Matiasko, a master artist-sculptor from the Czech Republic, has had a passion for art since his early years. He studied, worked, and exhibited in stone, clay, and bronze in a classical style before immigrating to Canada in 1986. Throughout his creative career, Matiasko has worked as a freelance sculptor and artist, exploring themes that are original, lyrical, and poetic. His approach to creativity is inspired by his appreciation for feminine beauty and the positive aspects of life. 

Using materials such as stone, tin, lead, bronze, clay, and plaster, Matiasko creates monumental works. His art has been well received by both experts and the public, having been exhibited many times in private and public collections in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, England, Austria, Sweden, Holland, Peru, and Canada.
