The Art of Fabric Collage: Experiments with Cutting, Bonding & Layering with Lorna Moffat

In this fun hands-on workshop, you will create a fabric collage without stitching or use of a sewing machine to take home and frame. Lorna attended Glasgow School of Art from 1982 to ‘87, receiving both BA honours and postgraduate degrees in textile design. She started a business making one-of-a-kind stitched and collaged textiles for the home and sold her work in galleries and stores in both the UK and North America. Working over 30 years, she has developed the confidence to experiment, create depth and explore patterns using both shop-bought and upcycled fabrics.
