Culture Days Event: Indigenous Wool Weaving & Story Sharing

Spelexilh (Anjeanette Dawson) of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) will demonstrate traditional wool weaving techniques and share knowledge and teachings that have been shared with her regarding the history of wool weaving. Anjeanette will demonstrate some of the traditional techniques used to create shawls, blankets, sitting blankets, sashes, headbands, and belts. All ages are welcome!
