Making a Driftwood Orb Sculpture with Tracey Hayes

Be inspired by the waterfront location and create a sculptural driftwood ball lit with fairy lights. Suitable for all skill levels, ages 12 and up. All materials supplied—please bring driftwood pieces if you have some.

Location: The Music Box (Upstairs Studio), 1564 Argyle Ave, West Vancouver

Tracey Hayes has a BFA from UVIC and a diploma in classical and 3D animation from Vancouver Film School.  After a 12-year career in the industry, she has returned to her fine art roots and creates west coast inspired abstract art along with painting murals, illustrating children's books, and facilitating art classes and workshops for children and adults. Her work is inspired by her love of travel, wildlife, and the serenity of nature with vibrant colours and textures. Tracey is a West Vancouver art instructor and a participant of the Staying Curious exhibition at the Ferry Building Gallery in January 2024.
